First let me say this...Tell your husband to be, you should always be honest with this sort of thing to prevent future heartbreak. That said, I had a similar situation. I had my 1st period at 13, regular for about a year, then I would skip months and at 15 they stopped all together. My mom yook me to see a gyn. He just told me I had amenorhea(absence of menses) and slapped me on birth control pillsDidnt bother to find out why). That regulated me. Six months before I was married(I was 20) I stopped taking the pill because we knew we wanted children soon. I didnt get pregnant even after a year and 6 months. I went to another gyn..he ran tests and told me I had polycystic ovarian disease and it was unlikely I would ever concieve on my own without hormone treatments and possibly invitro. But without insurance or the funds to pay for it all, my hubby and I let go and let God. 4 years later I found out I was pregnant with my son. He is now a happy healthy 2 year old. My miracle. Now were wanting another child. My new and improved gyn put me on Metformin about a month ago to regulate my cycles. It has worked so far. Theres ALWAYS hope that you can beat the odds and have children IF its meant to be. Never give up on that. If its not meant for you to have children of your own, try adoption, just as good, and think of the difference you can make in that childs life. Always be honest with youe fiance, If he would leave you because you are infertile then obviously he doesnt love you the way he should. If he truly loves you he will stick by you NO MATTER WHAT. I wish you all the best of luck. Be Blessed!

I am not sure if this will help but my mother-in-law had a similar problem but it was a little different. She would have her period that could last for a couple of days to as long as a month and then not even have one for a month or so. Now this all started after she had her children so i don't know if you would be able to have children or not that is something your gyno will have to answer. My point to this is that all of my mother-in-law's doctors said that there was nothing wrong just get on birth control to regulate it but even that did not help. In the end, she finally convinced her gyno to take everything out, but of course they refused to remove the ovaries for hormone reasons. After this happen, they found out that she had cancer that was hidden in the lining somewhere that was not detectable by a pap and that there were other ways to find this but they never tried because they did not expect this. So i suggest that you go to a gyno and make him run every test they have whether he/she thinks it is necessary or not. She had stage two and that explain her periods and why she was always tired, luckly they think they got it all when they removed everything. But you can never be to careful when it comes to your body.

Why is your title question phrased the way it is if you only want answers from certain people?

Anyway, I was going to suggest that the reason you may not be getting a regular period is that you may be too thin? And if your fiance expects to have babies with you, you should be as honest as you can since you still could have kids and everything but you seem not to have any definitive answers from the gyno. I am not a pro, but I wish you the best of luck in conceiving. Children are a huge blessing. Good luck on the marriage/wedding too.

This sounds like a question for your GYN. I do not see why you shouldn't be able to get pregnant, base on the info you told me, but I am no GYN.

Also there are ovulation detection kits that detect the presence of LH surge in the urine to indicate fertility. You can try that

If a woman wants to conceive, the most fertile time occurs between 19 and 10 days prior to the expected menses. Many women use ovulation detection kits that detect the presence of the LH surge in the urine to indicate the most fertile time. Other ovulation detection systems rely on observation of one or more of the three primary fertility signs (basal body temperature, cervical fluid, and cervical position).

I have the same problems. They told me all I need is birth control to fix it. I am still living with it because my family has issues with birth control. I don't want to upset my father about it. They "my doctors" suggest I go on the pill for a few years then stop because then I will be regular enough to get pregnant. If this does not work for you, try adoption.

birth control pills are pretty good in regulating your cycle.
they are not only to prevent pregnancy.
Also try webmd.com theres lots of things there. And you should talk about it with your boyfriend. So he can understand whats going on with you. If you get the problem fix.. u know with getting your period is possible to have a baby. Or you might have to get an in-plantation but that's expensive
