Any suggestions would be appreciated...He is leaving on tour for 7 weeks, so i want him to know how much he means to me

If I were in his place, anything written by you (poetry or not) would mean vastly more than any words copied from somewhere or written by another. Even the sentence, "I wish I could write a poem that would tell you how much you mean to me" would be better than an actual poem. I suggest you keep it real.

Try writing one yourself. It really has so much more meaning and I'm sure he'd appreciate one from just you. I could write you one this moment but I've given it up as I've already put so many out on here and only gotten one response of a thank you back.. Good luck.....

i do write some poems (none are that great) but i cant write about other peoples feelings, they have to come from the authors feelings and experience. You, being the best author for yourself, would write the most meaningful piece for your man...

lovepoems.com or something like that usually has a lot and that always helps to give me ideas of what I want a poem or letter to say.
