I would say Hollister brand cologne for guys. It's perfect...not too strong, but not too soft. You simply HAVE to try it. I was about this close to buying for my BF for Valentine's Day - - (that's how far away I was from buying it). But watch out....it's pricey, just like all the stuff at Hollister...36.95 is the price you'll pay.
For a cheaper scent, go with Old Spice. It's just so...clean-smelling. And it's a good 20 bucks cheaper than Hollister.
DEFINITELY stay away from Axe. That stuff is just plain NASTY. It smells WAY too strong and it's enough to make anyone's girlfriend want to hurl!! I hate it, and guys who wear it are definitely more avoided by girls.

I've gotten nothing but good responses to 'Eternity' by Calvin Klein - it's not the newest & most fashionable thing out there - but it smells great.
