Well when I was growing up I had eight siblings...six older than myself. I didn't have anything long enough to hold as my favorite toy. I started collecting little things..tiny figures from a cracker jack box...the toys in a Frito bag...little stuff. Those were my toys..one day I found a little flat rock...I drew a face on it..with my collection of "toys" I invented a family of sorts..The rock was gramps. I eventually lost all my collection except for gramps..to this day I still have him. It's been about 40 years...gramps is still with me.

Rainbow Brite
I had Rainbow Brite, the horse Starlite, and the little fuzzy guy Twink. My mom got me the album and I would put that on my strawberry shortcake record player and sing from the top of my lungs. It's been what 16 years and I still have that album and the dolls. lol

Barbies, Hot Wheels, and Legos. And sand and worms and frogs. But those aren't considered toys.

We were really poor growing up and I always saw Play-Doh commercials on our black and white turn knob 13 inch TV. I pleaded with my mom to get me some fun Play-Doh but she always told me it won't fit in our budget. After many days of crying and being a brat, I took some cheese and hid it in my closet until it started growing mold. After the mold grew, I could form it and make neat shapes. I loved that stuff.

I loved Babar the elephant king. I had a large stuffed Babar, several small Babar figures, and of course the Queen, the kids, the cousin Arthur, and the monkey named Zephyr.

I was a fierce tomboy and LOVED my Marvel the Mustang riding toy. We weren't very well off, so when my mom figured I'd outgrown it, she swapped it for a Mustang pedal car for my little brother. I've never forgiven her and swear I'm going to get another one, when finances allow!
