Once you are 18 you can marry who ever you want, but if you have to ask someone else whether or not it's ok or if it's a good idea...you probably should not marry the person.

My wife is 12 years older than I am, and we have a GREAT relationship. It's all about the love you two have for each other and that should overcome anything.

As long as you're both legal I don't see the problem. I dated a man 10 yrs older than me and we had a lot in common. I don't see a problem with it at all. No one said your soul mate was going to be the mirror image of you.

My step-dad is 10 years younger than my mom and my brothers fiance is 8 years older than him and they are happy as can be.
