i don't watch the game. i'm not really that interested. but i might watch the finale. from there, i can see who will win the world cup.
my friend says it's magical. it makes you feel many things all at once. he said that "it could make you fall in love". the emotions of "rage", "dissapointment", and also "desperateness" all come.
what about you? what do you feel when you watch the world cup? and tell me how exciting is it really? i see a lot of fans in here get hyped up for it. all of them in their soccer uniforms and crazy hairdos...

Im an american girl.
There is no sport better than soccer (im american, sorry.)
There is NOTHING more pure than a players excitement and joy in scoring a goal. The celebration has no ego in it as other sports encounter. its a happiness that now the players team has a point..on their way to winning. I see it as more of a team sport than most. Great skill and physical form in each player.
now put the worlds greatest teams together...its good matches all around.
Why do the fans get so obsessed with who they support? lol dont know that. im not a face painter. yet.
Thats a sociological question. but i love it!
It very much feels like being apart of something BIG when watching EVERYTHING leading up to the final. If i could see the preliminaries or the friendlies even that would be great!

Your friend is right. Nothing like the excitement before a goal, or the dissappointment/relief when they don't make it, or the unexpected celebration from a sudden one. It's fun, it's friendly, uniting, and incredibly addicting. I LOVE it. And I love that unlike most other sports, players respect each other (even from opposing teams). You'll see players who just committed a foul, help the person who is down get up again, and apologize. Or the trading of jerseys at the end of games is pretty amazing too. There are very few sports in which you'll see this kind of sportsmanship.

The World Cup is pretty exciting. Especially when group play is finished and the Round of 16 begins. That is when all the excitement begins. The finals are crazy, especially when teams like Brazil or Germany are playing.

It is as exciting as the Stanley Cup, okay well if you prefer soccer to hockey maybe not. Millions and millions of fans tuning in at all hours to catch the games and parties everywhere for groups of watchers. Financially it is big business also, getting your product as an official sponsor will cost up to 60+ million dollars to be associated with the games, not unlike Superbowl...just a different game.

The world cup is by far the most exciting sports event on the planet. The thing is that only about 10-20% of americans even follow it. I, for one, love to watch it. In fact, I even got directv for a month just to watch it. I don't think that the USA is going to do very hot this year. If you are even thinking about it, WATCH IT and FOLLOW IT.

I absolutely love it! And I'm addicted to American football but I'm in love with European football and the World Cup.
It's the best thing ever. More fun than the NCAA March Madness tournament. It brings the world together!

get it right from me. any sport, movie or even cartoon for it to be interesting enough, u must follow it from the beginning then u will understand how painful or exiting to win or lose straight from Ur heart not just eyes. when emotions control u that's when Ur into the game. its really excititng the games and a lot of the guys are hot but i would recommend watching with someone that can kind of explain it to you it makes it easier to watch thus more enjoyabble
