i had a natural labor (both times) and when i compare them, the second time hurt a lot more than the first. my second was bigger then my first so he hurt more. the labor itself hurts like hell but after its over there is practically no pain at all. yes your sore and everything but it doesnt hurt as bad, it goes from a 10 to a 3
and the other question, if you dont know if it hurts or not, then wait till your old enough to find out.

If you are asking then I say your not old enough to be thinking about questions like this and if you are than how about Mom, she does know more than you do. But just in case you don't have anyone I'll try to help. Yes Labor hurts, anything worth having comes with some kind of pain. Making a baby, that's the easy part, but raising that baby is a life long job. It goes on as long as you are alive. Now that's a job you need to think about before you except it, Mistakes never go away. This takes alot of planning and commitment. And most important alot of LOVE

What do you think?! Honestly, it's the closest you could get to death without your heart actually stopping. I have a 3 year old and I have one on the way in about a week. Not looking foward to the birth process so much, but the baby is priceless and worth the effort. And making the baby...do you think tthere would be as many unwanted pregnancies if it weren't pleasurable?

labor is a way of opening the body to have the body. you don't look at labor at pain after pain. Look at each contraction as a way of getting closer to having the baby. If you relax and go with the contractions it will go a lot faster. Most of it is mind over matter!

um, yeah, labor hurts! really really bad. Making the baby is the fun part of it, so that don't hurt a bit. Its 9 months later when the watermelon wants to get through the lemon that it hurts quite a bit.

Yes, I won't lie to you, it does hurt. It is annoying at first and then as your contractions increase and you move toward transitional labor, you really need some support. I agree with some of the other posters, though, it is so worth it when you have your precious baby in your arms. SO AWESOME!!!

They left me in labor for 72 HOURS!! Finally when I threatened to take the iv out of my arm and go to another hospital...it dawned on them that geeee...maybe something is wrong...ugh...then they had to do an emergency C-section as her head was too big to go through my pelvic bone or vise versa...I will never get pregnant again!!! I love my 9 year old daughter with all my heart, she is all I will ever need....and the only child I'll EVER have.
Making her was definetly easier than having her!!
If you're young and unmarried...please, please, please do yourself a favor and WAIT many, many years so you'll be prepared for taking care of the baby for the rest of your life!!!
