Is this really because of your back or because you do not find anything sexually attractive to your husband anymore?
It does not matter how much older he is then you; it matters that you do not find anything worth having sex with him. Your saving grace would be the fact that you can use the back surgery as an excuse to not continue to have sex.
This will get old and he will find out, eventually, that you do not need him in that way anymore.
i suggest you talk to him and let him know; Go to counseling or something, with or without him.

Doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the back surgery! Just close your eyes and picture Brad Pitt- that will probably get your libido flowing again. Oh yeah... tell him not to talk while your concentrating, that will probably blow the mood.

I don't really think your back has anything to do with your desires for your husband. I think now that you've had the surgery, the blood and spinal fluid are now circultating properly and your thinking with all the thrusters in your brain.

Many people lose sexual interest after surgeries. Sometimes they just lose enerby because your body is recovering, but that only happens if it was not to long ago.

Are you taking any medicines regarding your operations? Some medicines and pain killers have sexual side effects.
