Try making a deal with her. My sister got a major infection when she got her ears pierced but this was due to a severe allergy to nickel which is in every kind of earrings (no matter how high the gold content is). If something bad happens to your ears, don't use them. I have my ears pierced but because I react to nickel as well, I only wear earrings on special occasions...and only for as long as my ears can stand it without itching. One very important thing to remember is that if you do get them pierced...make sure you follow the instructions they give you about cleaning your ears with rubbing alcohol every night. If you're not allergic to nickel, then it should be fine and maybe your mom will not have a problem with it down the road. However, if you do react, take the earrings out. If you don't, you could end up in the emergency room with a major infection and that is not fun. I remember my sister screaming and crying the night we removed those earrings from her ears.

Walking across the street is dangerous. Anything is dangerous if you don't take the time to understand it. Your mother loves you and wants you to be safe. All of the situations above can happen when your ears are pierced. What you want to do is show her that you are responsible enough to have what you are asking for. Here's what you need to consider.
1. You can't avoid having them ripped out - that usually only happens through carelessness or accident - not things that can be predicted.
2. You could also be allergic to certain metals. There are hypo-allergenic and purer metals to help prevent that - you might have to discipline yourself to have only 1 more expensive pair of earrings, say silver or gold for $15-50, rather than a dozen pairs that come on a sheet for under $5. A choice in favor of safety is a responsible choice.
3. The last is infection. It does happen to almost everyone. Only good higyene can prevent an infection. Once the piercing is healed, you want to keep both your earrings and your ears clean. If you're like my daughter, that means no more putting off your shower or calling a five second rinse a shower. You want to show her that you are responsible enough to care for your health.
If that doesn't help, then you may want to resign yourself to waiting until you are eighteen. Until then, your mother is responsible for your health and welfare and you should respect her responsibility.

BE MATURE. Ask her in a comfortable, life like voice, and if she says no, do not argue jointly with her. no count number how enormous the urge is to be bratty and strive against decrease back, do not do it. it truly is going to easily tutor her that you at the instantaneous are not mature adequate to make those sorts of selections. go away the issue for some days, and then carry it up back (yet be careful now to not push!) and say that you're nonetheless severe about the piercing. it truly is going to tutor her that it grow to be not merely a whim, and supply you time to imagine about what to assert.

do it with professional help. eg. do it at a clinic. that is the safest and cleanest way =)
however, allergies are harder to prove. some people are really more allergic to ear piercing. but just remember to keep it clean that should be ok? your professional should be able to advise too =) (btw, your first pair of earrings are supposed to be sterile, meaning they should not be causing allergies normally).
