Dell is one of the best, but I pray you dont have any problems with it because their customer support is in like indonesia or something their tech help stinks.
I prefer HP, never even had to call tech support in the two years I have owned it.
I have an HP desktop and a Dell laptop, like them both a lot.
I hate gateway though--it blew up right after the 1 year warranty was up and I had to basically just trash it.

Definately not i work with over 200 Dell computers and we are always having problems with failing hardware. They also use intel instead of AMD.

That stupid Dell computer "dude" that used to appear in those commercials.
Seriously though, I don't know, as I've never owned one.

I had a dell did not like it had problems, fix the problem got rid of it the person that has it loves it.. I have had Hp's and have had trouble with them... I got a no name from Internetishop and have not had any problems.. guess like cars you got people love there fords/ chevys/ gmc's/ dodges.. so on...
