this question is for people who are not a united states citizen, or a recent imagrant. I am an american and i have noticed some very harsh openions on the country i live in. Do you really belive we are that bad? Our leader is tring to help the entire world, and you hate us for it. I want to hear your side of this.

I'm from Italy....I have also lived in Australia and moved to the U.S. 5 yrs ago(and vacationed and worked here some before we moved).....and i LOVE the united states...and dont say sh!t about Bush, he's a good president, he's doing what he can and what he believes is the best decision, sure i dont support ALL of his decisions but he is a great guy and a good president and has dealt with the war on terror very well. so much that i joined the US Marines and have been on a tour to iraq.
In Italy the opinions about America fluctuate, in Australia, they like Americans but not so much the american government
what people do not realize is that over 10,000 american civilians were killed on 9/11.....were we going to sit back and let them do it again? i say f*** no. Bush made a great desicion. Fight them there, get rid of the dangers before they come to us.
i also read ur "Do you like Bush" question and i agree with you 100%
damn democrats need to shut up and open your eyes and decide things for yourself instead of what P Diddy and Ashton Kutcher tell you who to vote for and what to do.
I swear if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency in '08 im movin back to Italy.....Im hopin C. Rice runs, shes got my vote

I'm American but I don't think America is living up to it's potential.
I think America could do a lot of good here and around the world if we chose to, but we don't.
I also think Americas kinda nosy, always sticking it's nose into other countries affairs, and not always for the right reasons.
Would I want to live any place else though? No.
While we have a lot of faults, I know theres a lot of good things about America.
The most important of them being our rights and our freedom.

I'm from both England and Australia and the opinion seems to be the same in both countries. We like you guys and you can't be blamed for the directions that your government chooses to take - we don't however like your government.
We feel they keep you in the dark about a lot of issues, about the rest of the world and about thier interests in the countries they are supposedly 'saving'. Put it this way the words 'Not For Profit' do not seem to exist within thier vocabulary. Do yourself a favour - travel, and then see how you feel about your government. I would recommend this to anyone but especailly to US citizens.

i'm from Nepal......and frankly i think America or USA is pretty neat...... i like the beaches and the schools.... but well everyone knows that there is good as well as bad in every country...so since its not my own country... i kinda have a hard time dealing with it ....and as you said with the leaders...i like the help but some times its too much ...i knew more abt "helping America" when hurricane Katrina hit... did anyone came to help people in their OWN country !??! duh !!! so called helpful leaders....but over all...its not the greatest ....(its 4th greatest among the countries i've been living) but i can't say its not nice either coz america made my future dear !! i like it !! r0ck 0n !! and keep on having awesome computer programs and esp. Microfost r0cks just like you !!! (n_n)

As an America ..why would you what to hear all the negative stuff of this AWESOME COUNTRY!....Too many times I hear&see Americans Bashing this country and promoting it....LEAVE IF YOU ARENT HAPPY!!!! I just talked to a Hispanic from Mexico. HE was very mad at us 4 closing the boarders.HE said that the Mexicans deserve our jobs and that Americans need to go to Mexico.------BEFORE he quit talking he said he hated every last one of us.
