Elocon is an excellent lotion for your eczema.
Ask your doctor about Elocon. It is a hormone (not the type the athletes use) which will thin your skin if you use it for too long, but its results are within days and usually very good results.
I have used it off and on for about 2 years now, and my eczema has totally gone away!

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

My mother suffers from terrible eczema.
Her dermatologist recommends:
- She avoid hot showers and baths, instead opting for warm showers that are short. Also, use a moisterizing bodywash, rather than soap.
- Avoid exposing her skin to the sun. Cover up with thin, light colored clothing and use sunscreen. Stay in the shade if at all possible.
- Use Eucerin brand creams and lotions. They are gentle and usually don't affect medication.
- Vasoline can be of help for especially dry areas of the skin. Use lightly.
- Of course, make sure to drink plenty of water and eat well.
You should always consult a doctor before doing anything medical in nature.

For skin problems, especially eczema, you can take frequency, it's a new innovative product that you drink daily. It's made with marine phytoplankton. go to www.frequency.com/vickie (id# 135858) proven to work!! I've been in the business for over 28 years. Also, a product from NuSkin called Calming Touch in their Epoch line is also the most effective topical cream I have found bar none. Let me know if your interested in either or both.

Well sadly enough eczema and pimples are not "beauty marks".
I know that many folks use too hot of water when they bathe and wash their hands and faces this only inflames the situation. Furthermore all of the creams are BS except for the prescription ones from your doctor. Use a small amount of olive oil as a hand moisturizer and drink plenty of water. I mean it about the water don't do no sip her a sip there like one of those damn glass birds with the colored water that go back and forth back and forth dipping their beaks in the water, how do they do that? Some kind of perpetual motion machine?

I would go back to the dermatologist, and if you don't get relief, find a new dematologist. Make sure you're using the right products for your face, some can acually make existing problems worse. An example would be people with rosacea should never use a facial scrub, or chemical peel on their face, it will only irritate the skin even more. But if your doc gave you the script for the cream, and it's not working, you need to go back, plain and simple. good luck!

Have you tried Eucerin or Cetaphil? Both work great for Eczema. Aveeno has good products too, oatmeal bath soaks. If these don't help, try seeing a dermatologist. Good luck.

Try Curel Ultra Healing lotion. I struggled for many months with very dry skin and eczema, but once I tried Curel, most of my itching and dryness went away. Good luck

I've got eczema too, and I was given TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM USP, 0.025%. It helps a lot, I used it until I ran out of it. Good luck with your eczema and take care because I know it can hurt really badly especially when you've been exposed to the sun for long.......

Check back with the dermatologist. There are several different treatment options including UV Phototherapy that may help.
In the meantime, drink plenty of water, avoid harsh soaps etc, maybe even cut down to washing your face once daily with a gentle cleanser and applying mositurizing lotion daily.
Aloe Vera works well on overly dry skin.
