Ever sicne I saw RENT on broadway, I have had visions of 'Worst Pies in London' and 'Seasons of Love.' But where do I start? Can I get voice lessons, do I even need them? Voice lessons and dance lessons will definitely help. You need to be able to sing well, move well, act well if you want any chance of making it at all. Most people don't end up on Broadway, they do smaller stages and national tours.

Start with that then try to do every musical production you can find, church, community theater, high school. Go for it.

When you go to high school, join the drama department.

As your parents to find out the names of the community theaters in your city. Sometimes, there may be roles for someone your age. Ask the theaters how they go about auditioning kids for roles in their plays.

You need, singing, acting, dancing - tap- jazz and ballet, and dialects.

You need ANYTHING that will make YOU "stand out," instead of another actor.

You need to get as much stage work as possible. The more you can do, toward building your resume, the more likely you are to get a talent agent to represent you for your professional goals.

Good luck.
