I was always told NEVER DATE SOMEONE YOU COULDN'T SEE AS YOUR MATE. I didn't marry a poor guy or a rich guy. I married a hard working man who sees that our needs are met. The rest is just extra credit :)

Sorry, no/ Because if he was poor// he most likely wouldn't have a job. Because to me // poor is someone who doesn't try to go out and get a job.
I have a 18 yr old daughter who would be able to support herself if needed.
She works, saves, and so I believe that if she can do this,, then a man should be able to do this.
Even if it takes working 2 jobs, or walking to work..

I dated plenty of "poor" guys when I was younger. But if the guy was a poor lazy slob with no imagination or initiative, then he was booted out.

It depends on how poor he is.
If we're talking poor like: He can't always afford to pay for the date, or he can only afford to ride a bike, then yeah.
If we're talking poor like: all he owns is body lice then no.

I say its not the mistake of any person ......i depends on GOD and its his wish....u should be happy as ur ......anyways he has good plans for the poor as well as for the rich.........i say that if that person is loving and not a flirt or that poor guy is independent and is trying hard to fight his poverty..... i would surely marry him...im not allowed to date ...cause im very young according to my parents.........

Yes of course I would. I did and now we live together and have been together for 3 years. He has a little money but that is his and I don't ask for any of it. He is a hard worker and always tries his best at everything. The best and most important thing to me is that he loves me totally and unconditionally. Money is not everything. Sure. Money is only a tool. He may have lots of money and be a jerk too. I just wouldn't date a guy who expected me to fully support him (rent, food, life...)with my money when we were dating.
