ok is working fine,but this is the first time i had to change the cartrige they were empty....well i went and bought the ones they told me and i place them and they work just fine.... the problem is that is still say is out of ink and i have been all up in there trying to figure out how to change it but i cant find a way....and now when im low again i wont know because from the moment i put the new cartriges it keeps saying the ink is gone.. help please!!!!!!!

I have the same printer, scanner, copier.
OK, go to your Lexmark software.
Click "Device status and ink level".
Click "Maintenance"
Click "Install New cartridge"
On the next step it will ask you what cartridge to change and is it new or old, click new.
This should solve the problem.

Take it out and install it again. Then reboot your computer and it should come back up okay. If not. Then do it again and this time use your "unplug or eject hardware" button. Unplug the printer and plug it back in just before you reboot.
They're picky little devils. If worst comes to worse you can go the Lexmark help page.

goto lexmark.com and get a manual to maybe Reset the printer...A lot of times with combo units u need to hit the rest button on them
