Do you think everyone is really being fair to Brittany Spears?

Brittany has recieved a lot of bad PR over her parental mishaps. Do you think all of this negative attention is fair or that the public is being over critical and unfair due to her wealth and celebrity.

No, i think people should treat her better. She hasn't done anything to deserve this treatment! If she wanted to have a baby with him, let her. People need to just stay out of her business. She's an adult and she can make her own decisions! If people can't help her by stating positive statements, they shouldn't state anything at all.

Persons of celebrity are judged and scrutinized far more harshly than "real folks". She probably deserves a lot of the bad press she's gotten, as she's made some ill-advised decisions, but this keeping in the perspective of a famous icon. A person of her stature should have a gaggle of advisors and publicity handlers to help to keep her image pure, but she either has not, or has made very poor choices for these positions. For a "normal" young bride, she is, indeed, being judged harshly. She has sought to raise herself above the "norm", so she has subjected herself to the attention she pursued. It is part of the price of fame, and perhaps the dearest.

I think when it comes to the safety of a child, such as putting them in a car seat correctly, or at all, no one can be too critical. I know she is a first time parent, but it is just common sense to put a child in a car seat when traveling.

I feel bad that Britney is now constantly being followed by the paparazzi and every move she is making is being scrutinized. I think they should back off and let her learn from the mistakes she has made. After all, she is only human.

No, not really. You have to realize that since Brittany is in the the public eye there will always be negative feedback when her life isnt going like an idols should. Does that make sense? I mean, how many bad crap was said about her first baby and her relationship with Kevin???

Nope all new mothers make mistakes. They're so worried about Britney when I just heard today on the news about a couple having their 4 children ages 4yrs3 yrs. 23 months and 11 days old living in filth.

The sad part is that poor Britney will get more bad publicity than those monsters.

It's not necessarily the public's opinion. It is the tabloids that have smeared and maybe manipulated what we have read and heard. Probably the public is a bit to harsh for a first time mother who doesn't know jack yet. But if your rich and famous, you gotta put up with some crap, it's part of the deal.

Im sure Britney is fed up, I would surely be & it must be pretty hard to deal with being she has to go on TV to defend herself. Is it really "us" the public causing her problems? No, we dont even know her or anything about her "real self" or her family life or what her husband is really like. Its not my style to judge someone I dont know. Good for her! You go girl!

Its the media & its sickening those mega-wealthy media corps are so selfish that they go to any measure to dish on anyone they can, even at the risk of someone's reputation. It's unfair to anyone famous or not to be slanted by the media.

Over critical definetly. I think it is stupid how everyone cares more about her and her motherhood then they care to realize about their own! She is doing an interview now on NBC and I feel so bad for her! Paparazzi sucks!
