Go to your start menu, click "run" Type in the space "msconfig", without the parenthesis ofcourse. then go to the startup tab, and click "Disable all" This should make your computer start up faster as well, as none of those programs that automatically start when you turn it on, will no longer automatically start, only when you tell them otherwise. This is the main cause for computers that startup excruciatingly slow.
