How about the Sox getting Don Baylor for Mike Easler in 1986? That was a good one. The Sox also had Elston Howard catching in 1967 but I don't know if that was from a trade.

I have no idea but I think its funny how that one guy said you were a jackass and its Babe Ruth because he needs to learn to read the question right.Babe Ruth went from the Red Sox to the Yankees, not from the Yankees to the Red Sox!

Elston Howard , a catcher went from the Yankees to the Red Sox in 1967 and helped the Sox to win the pennant.

Isn't it nice to see that all those idiots can't read your question properly. I can't think of anyone that has gone FROM the Yankees TO the Red Sox. I have been a baseball fan for almost 25 years and I just can't think of a star player that went to Boston. Steinbrenner seems to really hate them and I think he wouldn't let that happen. I will keep searching and update my answer if I can find anything. David Well wend to Boston two years after playing for the Yankees, so that doesn't count. Also, Wells is a traveling salesman, if you will.

No, which is just one reason why the Yankees have won 26 world championships since Babe Ruth was sold away and the red sox have won just one.

By the way, I don't hate the red sox, but I find it amusing that so many red sox fans hate the YANKEES.

Ummm matt luvs you may need to reread the question. It was yankees to RED SOX. Babe went from the Red Sox to the yankees. Hence the Curse being on the Red Sox. Most of the players I know of have gone to the yankees from the Sox.
