ok...
Check your emissions report for "hydrocarbons". If they are above normal, too, then you obviously aren't getting enough air in your air-fuel mixture (you're running rich). Try adjusting your carb's idle mixture screw's setting, and checking your float level. If that don't work, check your valve clearances. Also, try new plugs, and a tune-up, if you haven't already.

CO is carbon monoxide... produced by utilising utilising burning gas. HC is Hydrocarbons.. in reality, unburnt gas.. Lambda is the share of air to gas, and may well be one million.0.. optimal are particularly much less.. Unburnt gas will injury the cat, yet as yours has exceeded, it particularly isn't a situation.. CO is intense at the same time as the engine is working wealthy, or the Cat isn't working exact.. a grimy air clean out could additionally reason this. it particularly is controlled by utilising utilising the onboard workstation which gets it particularly is readings from the O2 sensors... at the same time as those circulate undesirable, there is greater often than not an strengthen in CO, and the MPG is going down.. As yours easily in trouble-free words failed, you're arranged to undergo in innovations that a CAT easily works at the same time because it particularly is heat, same for the O2 sensors, so make powerful that your motorcar is at common temperature earlier stepping into.. that may no longer likely for a CAT to fail in this type of short quantity of time... if there is a few thing i might desire to do, is in all likelihood replace the O2 sensor/s

Have you checked you timing? Also check the O2 sensor(s) that are in the upside of the exhaust system. Timing is the biggest thing though. Good luck and i hope I helped

Run the car low on gas, like a gallon at most, and dump a case or so of ISO-HEET, as soon as it passes fill your car up with gas to dilute the alcohol.

I think that year wass still Leaded gas.... That would be one reason... another would be what kind did you put on... If your catalitic converter is not a good one you will never get it to pass.
