It can happen at any time during the pregnancy, although it is more likely to happen during the first trimester. I have had two miscarriages and one healthy baby (my miracle baby) the first miscarriage I was about 5 months along and the second I was only a few weeks along. I really hope that nothing like that happens, if you have any bleeding whatsoever call your doctor immediately. There is no greater pain than the loss of a child.

A pregnancy loss is called a miscarriage if it occurs before the 20th week of pregnancy. After that it is called a stillbirth.
