I just found out I'm pregnant. Two weeks ago I chaperoned a school trip to Six Flags. I went on two rollercoasters and a few water slides. I'm scared this will have damaged my developing baby. Does anyone have advice or similar experince they can share?

Your baby is fine. The thinking in avoiding high-impact activities like rollercoasters or amusement park rides is that stressing the fetus might cause a miscarriage. If it hasn't happened by now (from riding the rides), it isn't going to happen. You certainly haven't damaged the fetus; drinking or smoking or taking drugs might, but going on the Twister is pretty harmless in comparison. (You should start to be cautious about such activities NOW, however.)

Enjoy your baby! Best of luck to you, and God bless.

I am six weeks preg, and I got on various rollercoasters about 3 weeks ago not knowing of course. Then I had this very strong pain on my back, and got x-rays of my chest, again not knowing. I have asked my doctor and he says everything is fine. The baby is too small to get damaged. Just watch out on the last months. My cousin got on a ride at 8 months and that induced her labor, but then again she was 16 at the time.

I did this same thing but when I found out I was pregnant it was only 2 months along. So, I probably went on the ride at 1 month pregnant. The doctor said everything should be fine, and it was. Nothing wrong with my baby in any way. You'll be ok.

You should be fine. If there is no bleeding or trauma to you or the baby then i believe both you and the baby are fine. As long as there is no bleeding little or heavy. If you develop problems then you should contact your doctor immediately, no questions about it!!!! Just take good care of yourself and your developing baby!

No they tell preganant women to stay off those things as a precaution to a larger baby because they are more likely to get hurt. You'll be fine and so will baby.

Yeah you should be okay, there's still a slight chance of something though..it depends on how far along you are also. If nothing has occured yet, most likely nothing will though.

You should be ok. Visit the doctor to confirm. If you are not bleeding severly or anything down there you are probably just fine
