Coke!
That is really sad, I'm sorry to offend anyone, but our country was founded on religion (as well as politics) and I'm sure that the Pepsi execs don't scratch off the word "God" from their money when they cash their fat checks from selling their product.
But I wouldn't be surprised if it is just a marketing ploy to cause commotion so that they will sell more product. By making such a statement I'm sure that thousands of people are going to grab a can and look at it in the store, and even more will see it on TV, kinda like having free advertising by changing the can, making them look like their patriotic, then causing a scene and hundreds looking at their product.
Food for thought.

What is the problem with removing "under God" from the pledge of Allegiance?
Did you know those words were not even in the pledge of allegiance before 1954? So, the United States has existed, as one of the best places on Earth from 1776, until 1954. Then all of a sudden, they added 'under God" in the pledge, and now that made us admirable in the eyes of God? If so, why has our society had more problems than ever since adding that part?
OK, so after "under God" was added, we entered Viet Nam war period. The longest war in U.S. history. After that war, we had Arab oil embargoes. The inflation hitting all time highs. And riots in major cities in 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Two gulf wars. New York City and Washington D.C. hit by terrorist in airplanes. Gays coming out of the woodwork ( am not against gays, but, many Christians think that's evil) We have had more problems since adding "under God" in that pledge than ever. Wouldn't it be better to remove it?
And by the way, since Pepsi is not a government organization, don't they have the right to do as they please? Or would you restrict their freedom of speech as well?

First of all, pepsi and the US government are entirely different entities. Pepsi has no control over what is on our money. They can choose to print anything on their cans.
As a matter of fact, this post is a Urban legend. Pepsi never produced such a can.

Pepsi is the Drink of Homosexual Americans. I think leaving
"In God we trust"
out is appropriate.

Pepsi or Coke? What's the difference?
They both make your teeth rot from the inside, and cause havoc for your liver.
Pick your poison.
