The only way to get into Disney World for free is to know someone who works there and have them get you in on their main gate pass. Otherwise, you will have to pay. If you are a AAA member, you can discounted tickets. But you have to buy, I think, a minimum of a 3 day park hopper pass in order to get the discount. They don't sell 1 or 2 day passes with the discount. You can also sit through a time share presenation in Orlando in order to get free tickets to the park, but it would take up your entire afternoon. It just depends on how precious your time is to you.
There are a lot of scams out there and buying off of Ebay is not recommended as the ticket sold may not work for you. See, when someone buys tickets, their name is printed on the back of the ticket. If you buy a ticket with someone else's name on it, they won't let you in the park unless that person is there with you and can show ID.

My suggestion: Just purchase the tickets at full price if AAA isn't an option. If you'd like to stay at a Disney hotel, check out www.disneyworld.com for promotions. They often have good deals on Disney hotels and theme park packages.

Disney prices really aren't that bad for what you all get. I'd get them straight through Disney or your travel agent. This is really the safest way to go. If you buy from eBay or other online discounters you may get there and find out that the ticket was expired, has no days or was non-transferrable. So the money you save will only cause more headaches and you will end up spending more than if you bought them from Disney. Trust me, this happens a lot more than it should.

The tickets this year are very inexpensive and will lower in price if you buy the longer pass, it can average down to $30 a day for adults. I always think it is safest to go to the source. You never know what you are getting if you save money and you wouldn't want to buy them twice. If you don't want to go very long, but still want to save some money, add on no expiration. Then, you can buy the ten day ticket and make it so it doesn't expire. Next year or ten years from now you can use them when you go back.

You can also do a timeshare tour. They generally give free tickets for completing the tour. This will take a good bit of your day up. But if you really want to get the tickets cheap this would be a good way to go. Personally, I would rather pay for the tickets than do the tours but it is an option.

Hope this helps

I don't recommend the timeshare route! It was one of the worse experience in my life. Unfortunately, you can't go anywhere in Orlando without being bombarded with timeshare salespeople. You will even get approached in Mcdonalds while you are trying to eat. It's almost, but not quite as bad as the stripper hawkers on the streets of Las Vegas. If you have been to LV, you Know what I am talking about!

There are discount stores on almost every corner. I have bought Universal tickets there without a problem, I can't vouch for Disney. There are also specials on the website and if you are driving there are several disney welcome centers on the outskirts of town that offer discounts to tourist.

I would recommend going through Disney or a travel agent. A lot of people try the discount booths but some are legit and some might not be. There are also people who buy through EBay but Disney's technology has you scan your finger with some tickets. I would just stick with getting them through Disney or a travel agent.

If you are willing to listen to a time share sales pitch you can often get free tickets from westgate resorts or some of the other time share businesses.

Make sure you can say NO to a high pressure salesman.

Punch in free disney world tickets on yahoo's search engine and you will get a list.

If you are a AAA member they usually have a discount. Also check with the Chamber of Commerce in Orlando. They can give you some guidance.

If you know anyone in the military, they get deep discounts. If you know anyone who works for ABC or Disney, they get a couple of free passes as part of their benefits.

You can ask at AAA. I am pretty sure you can buy discount tickets there. They have offices in most major cities.
