Rooms do not have square roots, only numbers have square roots. The square root of a number is another number which when multiplied by itself gives that number. For example 2 is the square root of 4 because 2 times 2 is 4.

I suppose you could treat the room as some volume - calculate the volume by multiplying length * width * height - and takign the square root of that quantity.

But really, the question doesn't make any sense with the info you've provided.
