Please! help me write this LETTERS?

I am newly made a secretary of a Christain Youths organisation. I comes that I have to write two letters,
1. To the Parish Priest telling him to release the youths fund to enable us buy musical instruments.

I am writing on behalf of the youth. We are requesting that you release the funds necessary for us to purchase musical instruments. It says we are to praise him on the instruments, so please help us to do so.
