Nope

I certainly hope so. As long as A-Rod stay in New York, the Yankees would never win a World Series. He is bad luck player.

Go Red Sox!

Well, he's making way too much money and I don't think another team would be willing to pick up his salary. He probably has a no trade clause making it more difficult to get rid of him. Who knows, if his current playing keeps up, he may request out of NY. He just is horrible in the clutch..can't get the big hit and has been so disappointing. He's also taking it out in the field with him. He had 13 errors all season in '05. So far this year he has 11 or 12 and we're not even at the all star break yet!

You'll find him wherever the biggest bank account exists. Let's be honest, who wouldn't? He's a blue chip player. I just remember an interview that he gave from the cab of his SUV before that trade when he said he LOVED Seattle and would stay there forever. Forever must've gotten shorter these days. Combine that with Steinbrenner's 'shoot first ask questions later' theory of management and I would have to say, "NO". He's going to have a bad year or two and George will send him packing , NEWEST, LATEST, GREATEST, just like he always does. You can't dispute the fact the he's a tremendous ball player.

Well, he'll be 31 in July and, counting this year, has five more years on his contract.

Considering the fact that he seems to take very good care of himself, he should still be a productive player at the age of 37. If the Yanks win a championship or two with him, and if George Steinbrenner is still in control of the team, I think they will sign him to a three to five year contract and he will finish with the Yanks.

Yes because the Yankees are the only ones that will pay him anything close to what he is looking for.The Yankees will need a third baseman so they might as well keep him.

If all the non yankee fans are lucky, then hopefully so. Gotta be one of the top three overrated players. for the dough Steinbrenner is paying him.

Unless there's another team willing to throw out a whole buttload of money at him, then I don't see why not.

I don't see why not, although it's a little too early to tell. At this point, who'd be willing to take THAT contract on?
