i am 13 years old and going into 8th grade. i am 5 foot 7 inches and most of my friends are barely 5 foot. i always feel like im way too tall. and some of them actually wish they were taller. i think that is INSANE!!!

That is an awesome height! stand tall and proud, don't slouch or anything because then people will know that you're unsure of your height. your friends are kinda short! when i went into 8th grade i was 5 foot 6 inches. many models are so attractive not only because they are tall, but because they're comfortable with their height. i hope this helped!

Dont worry I am thirteen too and im 5 foot 8 Im going to the ninth dont feel bad it pobably runs in the family. You're lucky to be tall you are probably great at sports and chicks dig taller men

Your not too tall... i used to feel the same though 1st-5th grade i was in dance class and in the pictures or shows i would always be put in the back. you will meet more people in high school and change friends a lot. and runway models are all like 5'10" and taller!

I have to assume you are a girl because most guys aren't real pumped on being short. I was 5' 8" in sixth grade. I have never wished to be shorter, in fact, it has always seemed to me that guys took me more seriously because I was not a shrimp. And if it's any consolation, many of your friends will catch up to you!

wow i am like you. but we are not tall. i am 5 foot 4 inches i think im to tall my friends want to be taller i dont get it!!!! plus im going to the 8th grade to!!! im in ST. emydius school.

I am also way too tall for my age,and I feel your pain.I despised standing out while all I wish for is to blend with the crowd.Before I was the new kid at my school,I was up to more than a foot taller than some kids i knew who where my age.I wanted to blend in so badly,that I wore shoes with no souls in them hoping that I wouldn't seem so tall.I did everything in my power to make me seem shorter.I began putting myself down and ended up being a geek for the rest of the school year.Even at home I felt lost because I was the only one in my family with the height problem.There was no doubt about it because I was the youngest out of five siblings.Than,over summer break,my whole out-look on life changed.I got thinking,and realized that my height wasn't a problem at all.It was just me and my pessimistic way of thinking that put me down.Ever since I realized what I was doing wrong,I actually did stuff right!In fact,I did stuff so right,that I was able to accomplish goals that I once thought where way out of my reach.I lost some weight,I graduated elementary school as an over-achiever,and I had a wide variety of friends to sit with at lunch.(P.S, if you need anymore advice,feel free to e-mail me at katching3@yahoo.com) (P.P.S, My height is now now five-four at eleven years old,and I'm proud!)

When I was younger, I was 5'41/2" going into 7th grade. STAND TALL, GIRL! Don't worry about it. There are plenty of tall women, and most of them are pretty. However, most of them also slouch their back because they think they are too tall. Stand tall and high, because when you slouch on purpouse, it makes you look less attractive.
Embrace this gift. Someday you will find your man, and he'll be very tall, dark, and handsome. Don't worry.

i m taller than all my friends 2 by like a halfa '.i tower over them its awsum also the tallest guy in the world was like 7' when he was 13 so dont worry

No way! Im an almost sophmore and Im 5'10". When I was your age I was 5'9". I used to hate my hieght, but when you get to highschool the guys love it and it helps with sports too. Try out for volleyball or basketball.

kd i think from your question you must be female .well my daughter is 6ft 2ins tall and has always been the tallest in her classes at school but in no way has that caused her any problems .she has excelled and made lots of friends good luck 5ft 7 ins is okay
