I did when he played for my hometown team, the Bakersfield Dodgers, and all the way up the minor league system, when he was a Dodger, even as a Marlin, but when he was traded to the Mets and said he was an East Coast guy and LA fans weren't loyal, I turned instantly on him. I now boo him unmercifully everytime I see him at Dodger Stadium. Jerk!!!

nijmih s little news for you, hes not on the mets
i love him. ill never forget in 2000 when the mets rallied for 8 in the eight to win the game and eventually turn the final stretch around to get to the ws. he hit the clinching hr. i couldnt stand the way he played the final 2 years as a met but i still love the guy.

He should fo been a DH for the mets ...if thats possibl..but i htink he had more fan support in New York than in LA and SD

I don't have a problem with him, but I don't necessarily think he deserves all of the accolades that he's gotten over the years. But that just feeds into my notion that the homerun is totally overrated.
