It opens to MSN because that's where it's set. Go to Tools, and click on Internet options. Change your homepage by typing in the Yahoo address. Click okay and you're in business.

Check your home page setting in Internet Explorer. Go to the tools menu in Internet Explorer and choose Internet options, select the general tab if not already selected and look at the home page field. If it is not set to the page you wish as your home page, change the address in the field and you should be good to go.

Go to Start, Control Panel, click "Internet Options", and you should see something that says "Homepage".
Clear out the IP address that is there (www.msn.com) and put www.yahoo.com and push "set as default"

Hope that helps!
