if you want to set it up as the default page when you load your browser, follow the above answer. if you want to set it so when you click on a web link to email someone (mailto links), then follow this:

You can make Yahoo Mail your default e-mail client by downloading a small file (147 KB) from this link:

I don't think you can, as if I understand it - you want your browser page to open at your email page. Well you will need to sign in to access your email and the email page is not in fact a browser but a sub-page if you like. Not a good idea - just try this instead:

Sign into your yahoo email so you are at the welcome page. Click on tools at the top, and Internet Options... and on the (default) General tab...top section (Home Page) click 'Use Current' button.
Chances are that next day you will be asked to sign in again as Yahoo will log you out after a period of non-activity.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox browser:

- Click Tools on the top menu
- Go down to Options
- Click the General tab
- Under "Home Page", and next to "Locations", put in http://mail.yahoo.com/
- Click OK

Internet Explorer will be pretty much the same, except for that you will select "Internet Options" underneath Tools. If you are using Internet Explorer, I would suggest switching to Mozilla Firefox.

Do you mean Home Page?

If it is, Open your IE, click on Tools, choose Internet Options. On the general tab, type http://www.mail.yahoo.com on the space where it says "address" click apply and click OK and voila, your homepage is yahoo mail.
