10 years ago I cried for 3 days and nights at the loss of a dear friend to cancer. Recently cried uncontrollably when I came home to New Orleans after evacuation from Katrina, and saw my 84 year old parents home flooded, and my city devastated.
In my opinion those two instances warranted uncontrollable tears.

the time that I had cried uncontrollably was when I found out that my Grandma had died of leukemia cancer. it did take some time for me to actually get that she was dead and not coming back...more of I was in school and the teacher asked me a question and instead of answering I just burst into tears and couldn't stop the teacher then asked me to go to her desk and explain what had just happened.when I had told her that my grandma had died that night and that I was still getting over that she was gone. the teacher had me sit down at her desk still crying and had me call my parents in front of the whole class to have them explain the whole situation to the teacher again but in a way that she could understand. that is the one time that I can remember that I had cried uncontrollably, took the an hour to get me calmed down.

yes I have . I cried so hard for so long that I had a migraine for days in a row and huge , hard , liquid filled bags under my eyes the next day. Can't wear eye make-up the next day and for days after because my eyes would become infected! Makes you want to cry even more!!!
