It seems that the American Advertising agencies LUV that Brit accent. I heard that they did a survey and discovered that Americans listen closer and pay more attention to someone with an English Accent as opposed to someone with a good old US Accent.

Go Figger! I remember when I could not even understand a word that was spoken on some of those English Movies, and now I am a pro...

I have an english accent because i'm english but it depends where in england tbh. The manc accent I have is so lame and no one will ever like it and all people say is "you alright love".
I love the southern cockney accent though. Even though I'm english, i love a good londoner talking and it turns me on (well almost) listening to that accent. I think liverpudlians and brummies have the most irritating but most amusing.

Not particularly.

The best English accents are:

- Australian
- French (hows that for ironic)
- Sometimes Spanish. (Once had a Priest from Spain and we would listen to his homilies(rather than fall asleep) because his speech was melodic)

What can I say... they are just more pleasant to the ear.

Chicks DIG the English accent! Try to keep it. It is sexy to every girl I've come across. And it always helps to be sexy yourself. lol
