Saying Dirk can do the same thing as wade is ridiculous. Dirk and Wade are equal offensively, however Dirk is terrible, a liability even on defense. People do not pay attention to defense, no one seems to care. Players have made their careers on defense and nothing else. Ben Wallace, Bruce Bowen. Those two barely can do anything else but defend and they start every game. Wade is so good defensively even if he couldn't score one point, he'd still be on the floor for 30 minutes. Dirk would be non-existent if he couldn't score, a third string center maybe. Wade wins this competition hands down.

Um Dirk Nowitzki all the way. Dirk shares the ball and D-wade is a ball hog. But I do give wade his props he is a good player. But I think Dirk is better.

Dirk can shoot, but Wade is better overall - especially inside scoring. Miami to win series at game 6!

They're both at the same level right now. But Dirk will soon have the edge since he can shoot the 3s and the perimeter shots. And drive to the hoop when the defense requires it. As for Wade, hes too short so his game is just by going and going to the hoop almost every single time, not a very good perimeter shooter especially behind the arc. Plus now injuries are starting to take a toll on him because of his style of play.

If this keeps up,he is on his way to becoming another could-have-been-great-player-if-not-for-injuries kind of superstar.

Grant Hill,Allan Houston,Penny Hardaway,Jamal Mashburn etc..

wade is a great player. he has a lot of good attributes such as speed, a decent shot, quick first step, strong finish, and definately wants to win. although dirk may not be as athletic as dwade, dirk is certainly more talented. this 7ft beast shoots three balls incredibly well, infact he won the three point shoot out. his height is very important for shooting the three point shots, because if youre not at least 6'8ish he wont even see you there. and centers dont dare contend him on the perimeter. he developed his inside game this season with the help of avery johnson which has shown a great deal of effectiveness throughout this seasons playoffs. he is a tough rebounder and can shoot free throws just as well as any player in the league. in this battle, dirk nowitzki is the winner!

d-wade, no question about it. for all you morons that said wade is a ball hog, wade and dirk averaged the same shot per game in the regular season plus wade had WAYy more assists than dirk.

D-Wade better because he plays at any position better than Dirk and draws fauls better than any player in the NBA right now.

Dirk, he's 7ft. and can shoot, he unstoppable and a team player. Wade is more of a ball hog then Kobe was, yet he's praised for shooting too much. I'd take Dirk all day
