Technically it's possible. I don't think any student of human behavior thinks it's very likely.

It's difficult. Judging a speaker as arrogant is a way to justify disagreeing with them. So there's an incentive for an opposing point of view to say "the other side is arrogant" instead of presenting a contrary idea (this was a factor in the 2004 US election, which was heavy on defense and critique of Bush, but presented no differing plans or specifics on Iraq, terrorism, or economic policy).
Even if most agree that a speaker is arrogant, it still has no impact on whether the speaker is correct in their statements.
But it IS possible. But only if we, as readers and listeners, agree to be responsible for our own ideas while considering others.

Well, technically, no. It's not allowed - 'Yahoo Answers' prohibits discussion, purely Q & A only(spoilsports). But I do concur with your sentiments very much.
Wishing you informative answers for intelligent questions!

when you have a group of mature, respectful individuals, who can, agree to disagree...
you can have some of the most enlightening, stimulating, and enriching conversations EVER!!!
warning...in every group , there will almost always be one individual that will allow pride to overwhelm them, and here..
you can apply wisdom and either heal them or ignore them.

Dream on , my friend. I for one would like to see more of that on here, but there is too much diversity in this world to allow that to proceed very far, and that is sad.

Possibly. But that's what online forums are for. This is more like a verbal c*ck fight
