Hey...my daughters favorite party has long been going to the beauty school and getting the full treatment with her friends. Hair, mani, pedi etc. The school in my town does it for five bucks a girl. Afterward we all go out on the town and celebrate at a resteraunt with ice cream. An actually pretty cheap party.

14yr should have fun, not worrying about what to do with pond and boys and girls together. just to have fun.
there should be parents present.
