Depends on where you want to live, what kind of convertible and how/where you plan to travel. You'll need at least six figures, though.

Depends where you live. In Toronto you need over 100G per year if you're single. The price of the house and taxes are the determinants here, and what you understand by a nice house.

Nice home in the NYC metro area is $1.0M. Mercedes S class convertible is about $80K. World trip with family each year is ~$15K. To support this lifestyle, you'd need to earm ~$400K.
