I've been meeting people from the Internet since 1998 or so. I have no qualms about it whatsoever. Sure...you always have to be a little skeptical because people tend to lie a lot (I don't), but it's always worth it to try to meet new people from online. You never know when you might meet a really nice person!

I have had 5 visitors coming all the way from northern Alberta as well as from the Toronto area. They plan to do it again this year only bringing others with them. Will meet several more next month.
