How can I get him to forgive me?

Question

I have been talking with a guy for over a year on the internet. I have developed very deep feelings for him and look forward to every chance I have to spend time with him. Because of his work schedule, he sometimes isn't on for a couple of weeks at a time. Tonight i was playing pool with a friend and forgot to sign on to my im and apparently he sent me some messenges and then came to the room I was in but I had to pool table over top of the lobby so I didn't see him. He sent me an e-mail saying he was terminally offended which I take as he is terminating our relationship. I've sent him a reply telling him how sry I am. What else can I do to show him how much he means to me?

Oh my goodness, were his questions pertaining to life or death or something? If not, I would not be too concerned for his forgiveness. If he is so willing to drop your relationship because you couldn't answer right away, the relationship isn't worth it. What nerve, he can go away for weeks and you can't for a moment? That's a classic baby move he's pulling. You know, when baby's need something they cry, if they can't get it they cry louder. Girl, I don't think you should apologize. If anyone does the apologizing it should be him. What did you go through the weeks when he was too busy to offer you company? Let him think about that. BUT<<----if you want the relationship that bad (even though I disagree, who am I?) let him go. You play the game too. Guys want you when you show you don't have time for them. In your next message say, "Alright then, good night."

I have had this problem too, and I have a problem at the moment aswell, I left an e_mail which was like a note saying how I felt and what I thought of our friendship. I know exactly how you feel though and its horrible when something like that happens. I hope you can work it out. Just be persistant and true. Good Luck

Wow, internet relationships. hopefully you are over 18 and understand the risks... But on to your answer, you can't be there waiting for someone on their schedule. If he was is going to get upset over that then he is being a little possesive. But seeing how I don't know how far you are in your relationship then I can't make a sound judgement.

In my opinion, you're better off letting him throw his temper tantrum and finding yourself someone who's more mature.

First of all how old are you. Talking can go on only for so long. Believe me, he is still doing his thing with other women. Don't allow him to upset your world or control it for that matter. Explain in a quick little e-mail the misunderstanding, than let it be.

Just let him know you got busy but you were thinking of him. Plus when he's gone those couple weeks at a time..........you have to keep busy so you don't go crazy missing him.
