Who will make it

1 detroit- Still have the most solid starting lineup in basketball. May make coaching change in off season. (But shouldn't)

2 miami- Have major talent but have room to improve at the point guard position. Jason Williams turns the ball over too much and Gary although solid as a backup is 37 years old.

3 Cleveland- Major momentum and have room to grow, need to sign an extension with lebron and find a major playmaker. Lebron needs to develope defensively.

4 Chicago- Solid team will only get better with a great lottery pick. Could use some front court help after losing eddie curry to the knicks.

5 Indiana- Injury plagued season killed them but they will pick it up and will show to be very competitive with the top teams.

6 New Jersey- Still need a bench and a low post man besides Krstic.

7 Washington- Will fall off a bit but will still win big games and surprise people as a low seed in the playoffs.

8 Boston- Youngest team in basketball will only get better with time. Look for Al Jefferson to put up big numbers.

out
Orlando- Will get close again but still need major pieces to contend.

Philadelphia- Will see a New York like implosion

milwaukee- Some good players but not enough to make it this time around.

1 Dallas- Will have the confidence of a possible title and no one will be calling them soft anymore.

2 Phoenix- Amare

3 San Antonio- Tim Duncan can still play and Manu and Tony should get back on track. Need to find a backup PG Van Exel and Udrih aren't doing it. Don't count on Horry to make big shots anymore, he played one too many seasons.

4 LA Clippers- Great depth, Brand is the most consistent player in the league and Maggette is althletic as anyone named kobe or lebron. Great shooters, great passers, and great rebounders equals dangerous. Look for them to sign Sprewell mid season.

5 Sacramento- They wish last season lasted a little bit longer, major defensive threat.

6 Denver- Still in the middle of the pack, need to settle player/coach issues. Kenyon is a major bust.

7 LA Lakers- Phoenix rematch will be amazing. Amare will make everyone miss Shaq. Look for Bynum to play at least 15 minutes a game by end of season.

8 Seattle- They also wished the season was longer. Wilcox finally playing like the scouts predicted. Two great point guards (Ridnour and Watson) that can play on the court at the same time and the best shooter in basketball in Ray Allen. Need a veteran center and a replacement for Rashard who is unhappy. Look for development of Robert Swift and Ridnour.

out
Golden state- Can't move the ball
Utah- Great players that don't fit
New Orleans- Not enough for Paul to work with
Minnesota- MUST MOVE KG OR THEY HAVE NO FUTURE. Blount, Banks, and Davis all have attitude problems, might be new jailblazers
