Modern liberalism in America isn't communism, it's more like socialism. They just think they can fool people by not using the word "socialism". Unfortunately a lot of people are fooled. Fortunately most liberals are either too baked or too busy protesting something on election day.

Communism had slowly taken over the ranks of the democratic party since FDR.
After centuries of self reliance which made this country stronger and stronger, FDR put in one socialized program after another creating nothing but animals in a zoo dependent on their democratic keepers for hand outs generation after generation.
Not only do each of these programs today not contribute to society but actually drain resources from society. That drain continues to grow each year as the politicians of both parties pander to these do nothing, know nothing, leaches whose sole purpose in life is to always expect more and look for ways to give less.
The $1-$1.5 billion dollar scam in New Orleans is nothing but the latest case in 60 years of example after example.

Only if the new term for "Conservative" is Fascist. Honestly though, neither is true. It's not Communist to desire a good fiscal policy and it's not communist to demand that civil liberties be protected.

Not quite but close. Add a democratic process to communism and you get a society that liberals would be happy with.
