I think either, or...u just have to be comfortable with it. Of course, u shouldn't holler out in the middle of the store, "MOM, I WANNA SHAVE!!!" Not because u'd embarass her, but because u'd make urself look like an immature fool...
If i were u, I'd probably wait until we went to the store together and passed either by or down the aisle with the shaving products in it. That way, it would spark the idea for both u and her, and she'll have a better understanding on why you're askin' her (since she knows that u just saw the razors, and ur not just sayin' that cuz ur friend told u that she shaves)...

seriously, just ask her. If your more comfortable at home or in the store.
Maybe, when you walk by the shaving stuff, stop and look at the stuff like your considering which products to use. Then ask your mom something like "I was thinking about shaving lately and I am not sure how to go about it. What do you think mom?"
something like that. probably better than that, mine was pretty lame.
Of course make sure your old enough to even be considering shaving!!! Your mom might skitz out if your only a kid (or kiddish)

You have to know that are ready, and so is your mom, shaving is a sign of maturity. Make sure its ok with your mom, and then TELL her you are ready to shave. If she disagrees then it means she doesnt think you are ready, wait another couple of months... the time will come trust me

how old are you? you don't want to start shaving to young. when you have a moment alone with her just let her know that you feel your ready to start shaving. then maybe shell pick you up some razors. good luck. don't shave to young or you'll get thick dark hair every where. Belive me I did it! And it sucks! waxing would be best!

Ask your mom how to shave...shes been through it before and she could help tell you if your ready or not.

Just tell her you feel old enough and responsible enough to do so and to keep up with it. And let her know other kids your age are doing it now. Are you a boy or a girl? Girls will probably get by easier asking but boys it'll be harder since they start years after girls start.
