one word..scientology....all those people are loons so why should he be any different.

I don't get it. I don't think he's a loon. I think he behaves pretty well considering he can't go anywhere without a thousand camera lenses aimed at him.
He's completely correct about his belief that kids shouldn't be given drugs (ritalin) to make them docile.
I think the press hates him because he lives a fairly clean healthy life and isn't some doped out drunken air-headed sulky celebrity.
If Tom Cruise is a loon, then the world needs more loony men.

Because Hollywood treats him like royalty and paparazzi give him
so much publicity, it has made him think he's better than he is. I
will say his acting is good and the movies he has made I love to
watch- The Firm, The Outsiders, Days of Thunder and etc. but
I do not like him personally ever since he started doing a number
on other actors and their lives.Since I heard the crap he had to say about Brooke Shields and his dumping of beautiful Nicole for a young girl like Katie Holmes and his ideas pushed on others about scientology, I can't stand him. He seems uglier by the minute, personality wise and look wise.

you know when i was 11 i went to see cocktail in the movies i thought oh wow he is something..then he did some other movies...then he met nicole, and i was oh wow they are doing movies together -days of thunder not so bad, far and away nice story. Eyes wide shut just totally threw me for a loop and intrview with the vampire..i just couldnt get over that..and i never felt the same about him now he is with a girl who is my age, and has a kid, and i have no idea what is gonna happen next or what he will do. But i do know i wish katie and tom happiness with the new baby.Hollywood is just that nuts...

that guy is on crack - there's no way he actually had a baby - it's all publicity. seriously - it would be impossible to hide it this long. anyway, i think he just doesnt work without nicole.
