Usually rich yuppies with small penis's, trying to overcome their inadequacies by trying to impress others with their material things. Sort of like the midlife crisis sports cars of the past. Foolish, immature people who care more about what others think of them rather than the environment. They think they are invincible. Trouble, is that most of these indequate people are also on the cell phone not talking to anyone but just trying to impress people, thus causing more accidents than the average driver.

Beacuse the car manufacturers created the ideea that are safer, which generally is not true. They are driven by making more profits and people bite. Generally you get a better driving experience with a sedan. It's all image. You'll see in about 5 years most SUVs will be history. But in some cases they are justified (if you REALLY go offroad).

I agree but the sad thing is when you see some soccer mom going over a small speed bump in a Yukon or Range Rover under 5 mph. These vehicles are made for so much more that it is a shame.

People like room, to feel safe, and to have the power to bully. However, some people don't like trucks, so the logical choice is an SUV.

Yeah, and they're gas guzzlers, too. But I'll bet people with SUVs have huge families. Not always their fault, either. Some people just have a boatload of sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews.

Why do people with small cars insist on driving them to functions? You know that kind where everybody brings something, except the jerk in the two seater. It would be great if they could bring something besides an appetite with them, but hey, they can barely fit themselves in the car, much less an ice chest full of ice?

Not to mention expensive.....Gas is too high.
But I have to admit, I used to have an SUV and I miss it sometimes. I liked mine b/c it had lots of room for long distance traveling. So much nicer than my small car now.

I know, they suck. They are boxes on wheels. I hate how you can't see anything behind you if one is driving on your behind. They're also super bad for the environment. Have some respect for wildlife, people! America consumes 25% of the world's total oil product. Buy a hybrid.

They are good for moving a few people from point a to point b and moving stuff to other points. yes they aren't as hot as a sports car, but they are way more interesting than the accords and civics everyone drives.
