Guard 1: It's in the rules. And you should know that one of us always tells the truth, and one of us always lies. That's a rule too, he (pointing at Guard 3) always lies.
Guard 3: I do not! I tell the truth!
Guard 1: Oh what a lie!
Guard 2: (Laughs)
Guard 3: He's the liar.
Sarah: (walks over to Guard 3) All right. Answer yes or no. Would he (pointing at Guard 1) tellm e that this door leads to the castle?
Guard 3: Uh…(to Guard 4) What do you think? Really? (to Sarah) Yes.
Sarah: Then the other door leads to the castle and this door leads to certain death.
Guard 3: How do you know? He could be telling the truth.
Sarah: But then you wouldn't be. So if you said yes, the answer is no.
Guard 3: But, I could be telling the truth.
Sarah: Then he would be lying. So if you told me that he said yes, the answer would still be no.
Guard 3: Is that right?
Guard 1: I don't know. I've never understood it.
Sarah: No, it's right. I've figured it out. I could never do it before, I think I'm getting smarter. It's a piece of cake. (Walks through the door she picked and almost immediately falls through a trap door into the Helping Hand tunnel.)

The brother who tells lies will go through the door of doom and the brother who tells the truth goes through the door of paradise. I would ask "WHY?" because I want to know why they each did what they did. Tell lies or the truth.

1.[simple] that's easy. clearly, paradise is a lie. your other choice isn't as promising, but still tells the truth. I would go through door number 2 (unknown) and ask the truthful one (if he is infact truthful) I would ask him the meaning of life because there never seems to be an answer to that, and so I would want the truth.
2.[complicated] I would go through door number two, and ask my brother if I would lead a happy life. If he said, yes, and he was the lying brother, then I would be led through false hope, and wish I would have gone through door number 1 (paradise) because then THAT would be happiness.

I would ask not the brothers a question, I would just simply tell which ever brother that I walk up to first to walk through the door, if the brother walks through then that door leads to paradise.

Which door is yours? Assuming the honest person is guarding the door to paradise he would point to the right one as the liar would point to the other brothers door. either way you have the right door.

Tell them to go to the paradise.
The one that is telling the truth WILL go to paradise, but since the other will lie and want to decieve you, he will automatically go to the bad door.
