The outside mirror on my chevy pickup is loose on it's horizontal piviot. Somebody must know a trick other than rolling down the window and adjusting it. I thought there might be something to swell the surrounding rubber and make it tight. Thanks

u can use brake fluid to make it swell if it's rubber

go to the electrical dept. at your local auto parts a look for zip ties used for tying up wires buy the biggest widest zip ties tie them up as tight as you can between the mirror's neck and the base cut the excess off
