So your brother in law got the stripper? What an asshole. That's fine for a bachelor party but not when you are married and have kids. Tell him to grow up and be a little more considerate to the surroundings. I hope you kicked out the stripper.

Anyone who doesn't bother to consider their intended audience isn't exactly 'polite'.

I'm sure your brother in law had the best intentions, but considering that children were present, I'd be a little upset (Especially if they were my children!)

A better alternative would have been to have an 'adults only' party later on. There are a variety of creative ways in which this might have been executed, and gives the guests a good idea of what to expect.

since it was a family event and there were children there yes u have the right to be upset. Strippers is an adult thing and im sure little kids do not understand it at all.

Brother-in-laws can really suck! Mine is in jail all the time and has at least 3 kids with different moms that he is not in contact with. Unfortunately they are part of the marital package. I would let him know it wasn't appropriate, but staying mad doesn't solve things. Someone much smarter than me once said that 'unforgiveness is like drinking poison and hoping the other person will die'. Good Luck.

I understand why you are upset. Heck I'd be upset too especially considering that there were children. I would talk with your BIL and tell him that hiring the stripper upset you and ask him if he wouldn't do it again. You don't have to be nasty or anything but you do have the right to voice your opinion and feelings.

lol Brother-in-laws can be a big pain. I have proof he is about 6'2 with a big....mouth. Wish I could trade him in lol. I guess just overlook it, so he does not get the satisfacation of getting your goat, I have had plenty of practice in that area. Sorry I know how you feel.lol p.s let me take that back did not know you had kids there I would kick his butt, ugh.....like he should have the nerve to do that. That is just not right.

Great idea in a really bad environment.

I would share with him why you are upset and then tell him next time you want to be part of the planning, what are you going to do never speak to him again?

Yes you should be because he is the one who wanted her to come. Is he seeing her or something. Why or how did she just show up? This is kinda strange is it not?

You should be upset with your husband for putting up with such behavior from his brother.

I'd be a bit upset as there were children there.

Pretty inconsiderate.
