I recovered from a life threatening disease, learned to walk again and was able to learn to use my other hand. I was on every kind of life support you could imagine with multi-organ failure and little chance of survival. But, completely by chance a resident on rotation in the intensive care unit with my team of doctors, identified the disease and put me on the medicine that saved my life. I'm eternally grateful to him and to be alive.
