you can try fuseable webbing. its kinda like tape but you put it on the fabric where you want to hem it and fold the fabric over it and iron it and it will fuse the fabric together. you can get it at any fabric store.

Dont sew it at all. Iron it. Iron the part that is too long to stay flat on the inside of the shirt. After you have worn it tucked in that way, all you have to do is throw it in the wash and the ironed in part will return to normal.

There's a kind of tape that you just put in the fold of the hem you want and iron it, so the hem stays in place. I think it's called stich witchery or something close to that.

Well, I use this type of tape that you tape the part you want to hem, inside and then you have to iron over it. Not over the part that's showing the tape but the other side of it.

Most drug and grocry stores carry a liquid called "no sew". You can find it where they carry thread and needles. It works pretty good.
