Why are people turning against Cena?

Before Wrestlemania, Cena would get a standing ovation from everyone. He hasn't cheated, he hasn't insulted any fans, all he's done is kick ***. why are people turning against him? to be honest, its kinda getting on my nerves.

i dont know how u can say he's a bad wrestler when he's held the title that long, and he's beaten people the likes of Triple H...so by saying cena's bad, ur saying Triple H is even worse.

I agree. It's getting on my nerves and everytime I hear it, I always curse at them and diss them. It's RVD & Edge's fault-they made him look bad anyway. Cena is a good champion and I can't believe he keeps getting screwed by idiots. It's not fair because Cena would've won that RVD match if Edge didn't come out! But it was funny on ECW when he made a comeback. Don't worry about those haters! they can chant cuz they suck but Cena is the best!

Because he's not exciting in the ring. Actually, his ring work is pretty poor compared to a lot of past champions.

Plus, the fact that he beat Triple H and whoever else means nothing. He beat Triple H because it was planned that he would beat Triple H, not because he's a better wrestler. He's held the belt for so long because it's planned that way, not because he's a good wrestler.

Funny that it gets on your nerves that people hate Cena. It gets on my nerves that people like you cheer him because that means he stays at the top longer. People can't accept Cena as a "wrestler" because he couldn't do what Kurt Angle does...then again, who can? And the WWE wouldn't hire bad wrestlers, and I've seen him wrestle, and he beat Triple H, so, there's no problem with Cena.

Because he's so freaking OVERRATED!!! Geez, he is not THAT great of a wrestler! If you're overrated, that means you spend too much time on my TV and/or you've held the belt for so damn long and I want you out. Now.

It gets on my nerves when these teenybopper girls and little kids say that Cena is the best wrestler ever when they probably haven't even watched it long. They are so clueless. I'll give credit to the kids because they're young, but the girls? My theory is they only started watching because he's "OMG, like, sooooooooooo hott!!" (and yes, I do know how to spell "hot". Most teenage girls spell it like that though)

He's young, successful and rich. All good reasons to turn on him.
John has held and defended the title for a very long time, and like yourself, I think he's getting a bad rap. It never ceases to amaze me how people who are successful always get ripped apart and tossed aside by their conterparts.

Because no matter if he's a heel or a face, he is the SAME character! He's a little more biting when he's a heel but he's basically the same guy. And it's stale. He can't seem to change himself up at all.

He's also not a very good wrestler, he's average on his good days. His punches are sloppy and his finisher is atrocious.

Most people were turning against Cena because they thought that he had the title too long, and plus they thought that his gimmick was old. Now since he's lost his title he doesn't get boo'ed as bad as he use to.

Because he is very bad at wrestling, and not entertaining in the least. His character has become very stale, and many people feel that he needs to be turned heel to bring life back to his career. His meteoric "Superman" push is also one of the main reasons, along with his infamous "5 moves of doom".
