Can a person really be 'unattached' in this world, is it possible?
If yes, what can we gain being 'unattached'?

I like your picture. In my opinion, unattached is feeling as if you don't really fit in any aspect of society. I certainly don't. Human nature scares the crap out of me. We are the only creature that is capable of blind hatred toward one another. I don't fit in at work, school, and I only enjoy the company of my son and his father. I used to think I was a loner and something was wrong with me. Then I discovered I'm just "unattached" and should be happy with the way I am. I think we gain a better sense of self from being this way. Instead of following what the world tells you to be (good paying job, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 2 cars, 2 kids, college, drink when you're 21, retire @ 65, etc) do what feels right to you.
